With the recent news of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) becoming a global risk to all of us, we know you have concerns about the risks as they relate to your projects and the interior design industry. In an effort to minimize the risks, Interior Design Details wants you to know that we are taking action to help protect our clients, design team and the community.
We are keeping abreast of the situation and working with manufacturers and suppliers that share our concerns and values, and that maintain a large inventory or manufacture product locally or in the United States and other countries in order to get your projects completed in a timely manner.
Our suppliers and manufacturers are using guidance from the Ministry of Health & Wellness, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in maintaining their factories, warehouses and showrooms. This includes sanitizing work surfaces, deep cleaning equipment, providing alcohol-based sanitizers accessible to employees, and paying extra attention to high-touch areas including door handles and pulls, countertops, work surfaces, control switches, and railings.
Without “distancing” ourselves from our clients, in addition to our full-service interior design and purchasing, we are working to provide you with more services through our Professional Online Interior Design (“eDesign”) services, which implements our collaborative Client-to-Designer Online Design Studio.
You can also help protect yourselves by being prepared and by following the CDC guidelines (cdc.gov) and keeping your hands out of your face, washing your hands or using hand sanitizer often, wear a mask if you are sick, inform us if you are sick, clean all regularly used surfaces, cover your cough or sneeze, keep travel to a minimum.
Remember, The World Health Organization says “The coronavirus cannot be transmitted through goods manufactured in any country reporting COVID-19 cases.”
